This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how we look after it. We follow the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). If anything here is unclear, please contact us and we will explain it.
Who we are

What we collect
We only collect what we need to reply to you and to do the work you ask for. This can include:
- Your name and business or role.
- Your email address and WhatsApp or phone number.
- Your current website address, if you share one.
- Details you share about your project, goals, budget and timing.
How we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote.
- To plan, design, build and support the websites, ecommerce experiences, business systems, reporting and ongoing digital work you ask us for.
- To arrange and confirm any calls or meetings we agree with you.
- To keep records for our own business and legal needs.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not send marketing you did not ask for.
How your enquiry is sent
When you send a project brief through the website, the details are delivered to us by email through Formspree, a form-handling service. When you contact us on WhatsApp, your message is handled inside WhatsApp. These providers process your information so that we can receive your message, and they may process it outside South Africa.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as we are working together, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet our business and legal needs. When it is no longer needed, we remove it.
Your rights
Under POPIA you can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. To do any of these, email portfolios@gvisuals.co.za and we will help.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page.
